Jen Psaki and Gregory Mecher – 12 years
Jen Psaki served as the 34th White House press secretary. According to Forbes, in 2021, she did very well in her first year under the Biden Presidency. Before she took on the role, she married Gregory Mecher in 2010. They met when they were both working with the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee in 2010.
Of course, it probably helps a relationship if you have been effectively working for the same political team for more than 11 years. As The Cincinnatti Enquirer describes with a nod to Mecher, it has been a wild ride for them both that he, a kid who grew up in Delhi, would never have expected.
